Nice and quite and our server was friendly

Food is not good - spices are to loud, tortillas are soggy, fish dry.

The waitstaff is delightful, the place is comfortable, and my food came quickly. But the Mexican food menu is bland as hell. Please change it up.

Love the chips and salsa and the Limit 2 Top Shelf Margarita is as good as it is aptly named.

The food was delicious. I had a difficult time deciding what to order because everything sounded good. I ended up ordering one of their specials- mix & match 3 Street tacos: the Al Pastor ( pork & pinapple salsa), vegetable taco, and fish taco, which to my surprise was my favorite.

Very yummy food and great menu choices! The food tasted fresh. The service was great too. I would definitely eat here again.

House (Coyote) Margaritas are excellent. Salsa and chips made from scratch daily. The food here overall has been consistently good for well over a decade. Service seems to vary from fair to great. Only complaint is that several of the chairs are very old and dirty. Like so dirty I thought about whether or not I should something down on them to sit on because I wasnt sure if some of the stain might transfer to my pants. Thats my only real issue. I also highly recommend reservations for dinner. There's no guarantee your table will be ready at that time, but its better than getting there and finding out they're on a 1 hour wait.

The steak and chicken fajitas are delicious. Nice place for a group. Friendly service.

Pretty good food. Decent service. I disagree with some of the 1-star reviews. It is a perfectly fine spot for dinner if you want some Tex-Mex. Fajitas were good. Crab cake was okay. Soup was good. Queso was good. Beer was cold.

A long time favorite. Excellent food, a good atmosphere and very good service. The menu is a combination of Tex-Mex and other. Southwest dishes. Enchiladas, buffalo meatloaf, and so much more

Our server was knowledgeable and detailed about the daily specials. She was attentive to refill our iced teas, and brought us more ice as needed. The entrees were hot, fresh, and had generous portions. We were too full for dessert, but she was thorough to tell us about them. I would definitely recommend this establishment.

we came around 1:30 and had a 35 minute wait. we had to wait a little bit for our drinks and had to ask for our chips and salsa to be brought out. i had the Panchos Enchiladas, i will definitely have it again. the food was amazing. a little pricey but that’s okay.

If you're a big fan of free chips and salsa like I am, this is a must! The chips have a nice seasoning on them and the salsa has a nice roasted flavor to it. My margarita was very large but also good. I had a pastor burrito (a special) and it was solid, but it was a little skimpy on the steak. My tres leches cake for dessert was very good as well

Canyon Cafe always has good food. Service is never bad, but attentiveness varies. I eat here several times per year with a group of friends. It's attached to a mall, so you can go other places in addition to dining.

More for Texas Mex style food but it was delicious.

Good food and service and an interesting Mexican ambience. We tried salmon salad and tortilla soup and found them tasty. It may not be your healthiest restaurant as some of the chips were deep fried. The soup could be less salty.

The food is very Tex Mex. The chips and salsa are very good. The seasoning on the chips adds a little something extra. The chips were served nice and warm. The salsa has a very nice smoky flavor, I really enjoyed both. I had the Panchos Enchiladas, served with rice and salad. The Enchiladas had great flavor, I really liked them. My critique for them is that they were not served hot, only luke warm and the sauce on them was very sparse. The server brought more sauce. I would prefer hot food. The rice was very good as well. I liked the house dressing for the salad. Over all, I loved the flavors of the food, just not the temperature. I will definitely return.

Nice atmosphere and tasty Tex Mex food, the complimentary chips are amazing!

Very okay. The chips are really great. I found the salsa tasted of nothing but black pepper. Guac was actually AWESOME made at tableside. I ordered fajitas--huge amount of peppers and onions, and tiny amount rice and beans and nearly shredded steak--nothing to sink teeth into. The tortillas I got where funny--after unwrapping the annoying husk they are served in--I had this unpeelable rock hard side or rolled tortillas--No joke I hit it with my knife and made a nice sound like two sticks striking each other--they bought me new ones and they were better but definitely not good. Overall, with the exception of chips and guac--my meal was unpalatable and I would not recommend. Sorry guys.

Excellent salsa, ask for green salsa nice and warm with warm chips is so good. Had the Chile rellano and it was the best I ever had!! Definitely coming back.

This place is okay. The food was okay and did not have a lot of taste to it. The service was nice though and it was very inviting. I just wish the food had a little more taste to it.

I went to lunch with my mom. We both had the salmon Caesar salad. It was amazing. The salmon they will ask how you like it. Of course I like mine kinda rare and they did an amazing job of delivering that rareness in my dish. I would come back again and again!

The Red Rock Lemonade is terrific... I would recommend this restaurant to any of my friends.

I have been to Canyon twice and had the special of street tacos both times. I have tried the bison, chicken, and pork tacos. First time, they were excellent. Perfectly cooked meats with flavorful topings. Second time, bison was flavorless, chicken was dry, and pork was mushy and fatty to the point of being inedible. I loved my meal so much the first time around, that I would like to try another dish from Canyon Cafe in the future. Interesting menu, nice staff and atmosphere.

It was ok. For the price the food wasn't even fresh. Margaritas were great and the waiter was very interesting and entertaining.

The food is consistently great! I have ordered the same dish for 10 plus years. Know I need to branch out, but I love the Applewood Salmon with spinach and sweet potatoes. MAYBE.next time,I will get those veggie tacos

There's no reason to eat here. The food was fine, but it didn't really matter Went there for lunch today with two co-workers, three of us total. We got there at 11:45, which I get is rush hour. The place was busy, but we were still seated immediately. We ordered fairly quickly, but it was 90 minutes before we got our food. The food tasted good and all, but who cares when you wait that long for it I would not recommend eating here there are plenty of places to go where you can actually eat.

Very disappointed in the food. Very bland. My wife tried their "Top Shelf Traditional Margarita". Sickly sweet and tasted like a bottled version rather than one made from scratch.

We were repeatedly ignored by the host. They spoke with other people and took their names as well as sat other people, who came in after us, while we were waiting to put our name in. After being ignored multiple times we were finally acknowledged with no apology or thanks for your patience simply told it would be a 35 minute wait. Walked out. Won't be back.

Great food and a fantastic server!

Great atmosphere, great menu with reasonably priced items. Went there for a Family dinner with over a dozen members. The restaurant treated us, and all of our members superbly. I highly recommend.
